Digital Confidence Labs creates an engaging and interactive environment where students build confidence, strengthen judgment and develop a clearer understanding of social platforms, media influence, advertising and online behavior.
The goal is empowerment through awareness, not fear or restriction.

DIGITAL CONFIDENCE FOUNDATIONS
Ages 12 - 14
Digital Confidence Foundations equips students with the awareness and judgment they need to safely navigate social media. Through real-world examples and guided discussion, students build healthier digital habits, stronger decision-making skills and leave with a clearer understanding of how online influence really works.
DIGITAL CONFIDENCE ESSENTIALS
Ages 15 - 17
Digital Confidence Essentials takes students deeper into how the digital world really operates. From algorithms and influencer marketing to digital reputation and hiring manager iimpact, this track sharpens critical thinking and equips students to navigate online spaces with strategy, confidence and control.
DAY 1: How Social Media Really Works
Students learn how social platforms, influencers and advertising are designed to capture attention and shape behavior. By understanding how content is created and promoted, students become less reactive and more aware online.
Focus: Social media mechanics, influencer culture, advertising basics, recognizing manipulation.
DAY 1: Algorithms, Influence & Digital Power
Students break down how algorithms curate content, how brands monetize attention, and how influence is engineered online. We analyze real-world examples to strengthen awareness and reduce manipulation.
Focus: Algorithms, targeted advertising, influencer strategy, engagement psychology.
Day 2: Anti-Bullying & Building A Reputation
Students explore digital boundaries, cyberbullying prevention and how to respond when situations feel uncomfortable. We practice real-world scenarios and teach clear steps for protecting privacy and reputation.
Focus: Digital footprint, online conflict, reporting tools, peer pressure, self-advocacy.
Day 2: Reputation, Career & Personal Brand
Students explore how their digital presence can impact college admissions, careers and future opportunities. We discuss digital footprint strategy, credibility and how to show up online with intention and integrity.
Focus: Public vs. private identity, online permanence, content strategy, long-term thinking.
Day 3: Confidence & Healthy Digital Habits
Students learn simple meditation and grounding techniques to manage comparison, school pressure and social stress. We develop personal screen boundaries and practical decision-making tools that strengthen confidence both online and off.
Focus: Emotional regulation, screentime, self-esteem, mindful tech use.
Day 3: Independent Thinking in a Controlled Media Environment
Students examine how media ownership, large holding companies, and platform incentives shape the narratives they see daily. The goal is to strengthen discernment, critical thinking, and confident decision-making.
Focus: Media literacy, ownership structures, narrative framing, digital discernment.
MEET CRISTIN
Cristin is a marketing strategist with nearly 20 years of experience working inside some of the world’s largest advertising and media organizations.
Through her work across digital platforms, online behavior and brand strategy, she has developed a rare behind-the-scenes understanding of how modern online environments are designed to capture attention, shape behavior and influence impulse control.
Digital Confidence Labs was created from that perspective.
After spending her career immersed in the systems shaping how young people interact on social, Cristin became deeply committed to helping younger generations to build awareness, confidence and healthier relationships with the digital world they already navigate daily.
Her approach emphasizes understanding, critical thinking and practical judgment rather than fear or restriction, helping students develop safer, more self-aware online habits.
